Grindosetamp Cafe / GDT

b

One of the newest cafes in town – Grindosetamp Café.

Who would’ve thought that while drinking coffee, you can enroll yourself in a mini coffee-workshop. This café encourages you to brew your own after a short coffee school experience of mixing different concoctions.

GDT also serves scrumptious dishes paired with local coffee brew; a perfect treat after a good stroll from The Mansion, Wright Park and Mines View Park.

GDT Café supports and promotes local beans.

EatsInBaguio recommendation: Red Sauce Spaghetti with Kiniing, Pizza Burger, Butterfly Pea Tea

Blaqk Bite Street Bistro

Blaqk Bite Street Bistro is the home of the famous big black burger. This restaurant serves a wide array of burgers and pastas fused with a not-so-common pair of some ingredients like chocolate and sugar beet.

Blaqk Bite Street Bistro is the place to visit if you want to fill those tummies with oversized burgers.

EatsInBaguio recommendation: Charcoal Burger, Guilt-Free Ice Cream

Cafe De Angelo – Chapis

This is the only restaurant that we featured twice in The Other Bloggers Food Crawl just because we love the cafe so much.

Cafe De Angelo is concentrated in its cozy home at Chapis Village and still boasts an array of mouthwatering dishes all made from organic produce. They also have one of the best coffee drinks around. If you want to get out of the busy streets of Baguio, Cafe De Angelo is really worth the trip.

If you want to keep on eating without sacrificing a bit of your diet routine, this is the best cafe for you. Most of their dishes are healthy and organic.

Fork N’ Dagger / FND

Filipino cuisine served in humongous portions might be this restaurant’s best feature. Fork N’ Dagger can give you table-sized barkada meals, jumbo halo-halo to a plateful all-time favorite Filipino grills like isaw, adidas and barbecue.

This restaurant can conveniently cater single to group orders everyday from 10 AM to 10PM. FND has a wide variety of seafood, pork, chicken and vegetable dishes at affordable prices.

What’s Up Duck / WUD

You guessed it right! Main dishes are of course from duck meat. They serve WUD own recipes that would surely enhance your appetite.

Most people put duck meat on the last of their list due to its gamy and putrid odor, but WUD proved it wrong. They specialize in this kind of meat so people wouldn’t be discouraged of its smell.

This restaurant also serves other dishes like pasta and salad.

Tradisyon at Azalea Residence Baguio

The last stop of The Other Bloggers Food Crawl for Day 1 is at Tradisyon Restaurant in Azalea Residences Baguio.

From the venue, setup and music, our expectations were raised as the staff welcome us in a long table assigned for our group served with selected Italian wine perfect for our Tuscany Night Buffet.

We were greeted with other diners to a complete Italian dinner experience. Just as we thought that we can’t put on more food to our tummies, we simply couldn’t resist the pizza, pasta, chops and of course – the steak!
