There’s no better way to spend a Saturday than enjoying the rich array of hotpot ingredients at Nabe! Nabe offers the full Japanese hotpot experience – everyone gets their own pot of broth to dip and mix to their heart’s content. We dug into succulent cuts of beef, with the US beef shortplate stealing the show as our top pick.

Nabe’s menu boasts no less than sixteen different soup base options. We tried the soy milk sesame broth, a solid choice if you want a savory but creamy soup to cook and combine with your meats, noodles, vegetables, and hotpot balls. We filled our pots with bok choy, cabbage, sweet corn, mushrooms, jade balls, long fong rolls, and of course, a healthy portion of rice noodles. They also have some fun balls, including adorable bunny-shaped ones – very timely for the Easter holiday.

As a fun addition to their hotpot menu, we indulged in a selection of their rolls. We sampled the Nabe roll, crazy maki, and kani maki. Additionally, we tried the California maki, which is a must-try for crabstick lovers.

At Nabe, customization is key. We loved mixing our own sauces at their do-it-yourself dipping sauce station. It’s newbie-friendly, since the station provides a helpful step-by-step guide for crafting your perfect sauce. Seasoned hotpot fans can tailor the sauce exactly to their liking.

There’s something for everyone at Nabe. Nabe provided us with a good time, with warmth and flavor – not to mention the friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
